The Kennedy Family Peru Missions

As you may notice this quarterly update is not the normal 4 page color update with pictures that we have been sending. A few weeks ago while I was in the High Jungle with two of my children, and some other friends someone broke into our house and stole our computer. Although we lost our computer, pictures, important information, and the program that we used to do our updates, we are so grateful that no one was harmed. Chelene, Mikayla, Zane and Joshua were all upstairs sleeping together. I Praise the Lord that he watched over each of them while we were away. Thanks to each of you who pray for our safety here in Peru.

This whole year has been filled with blessings as God has opened one door after another to share His Word. Last month alone we went into three new public schools. One of these schools had over 560 students and we went into every classroom and shared the Gospel. To think, that when we went to the door of this Catholic school the principal (who has only been there 3 months) said that he knew that God had sent us there! We have also reached many homeless giving them Bibles, blankets, and the gospel. It is things like this that we rejoice over as we look over the many thing that we have seen this year. We have hosted more groups this year than any other year. We have been blessed by having some wonderful interns come and be here at different times throughout the year. We are so thankful for each one and the time they spent at the NLCH.

God has been blessing our churches as we've seen both spiritual and numerical growth. We have started 2 new bus routes this year, with a mid-week Bible study in each one of these areas. We have seen many saved, and in one service last month, about 20 baptized.

We've also given out (with groups) thousands and thousands of tracts and Bibles. I do not say any of this to say look at what we have accomplished or look how much was done, but to say thanks be to God for what He has done and thank you for allowing us to be here representing your ministries and your love for missions!

Along with these blessings we also rejoice in sharing with you that we have just seen our 45th child adopted! When we started the New Life Children's Home almost 5 years ago, we knew that God was going to do something awesome...Praise the Lord he has! Words can not describe how awesome it is to reach these children with God's love. Along with your help we'll reach even more! Pray with us that we will have more sponsors so that we can bring in more children and see their lives changed.

This Christmas would you consider giving toward the purchase of Christmas gifts for the children and staff and toward the general fund of NLCH? These children don't have parents or family to give them presents, but they do have God's people to show them love by giving. Any amount will be greatly appreciated

This coming year we will be starting a new ministry "Feed Their Hunger." This will be a portable soup kitchen used to feed both the physical and spiritual hunger throughout Peru.

Please pray with us as we come in for the Christmas holidays. We will be spending time visiting family, traveling, and visiting supporting churches during the month of January.
